1st San Turakin Ngaski, Ambassador Ojo Patrick, Champions Proper Mining Procedures

In a profound demonstration of traditional leadership aligned with a developmental vision, Chief Ambassador Ojo Patrick Idowu JP, the 1st San Turakin Ngaski, has commenced a royal inspection tour of mining sites across the Ngaski region. Acting under the noble mandate of the Emirate, he declared a resolute stance against illegal mining—calling for regulation, lawful investment, and sustainable exploration.

With a tone both diplomatic and commanding, the San Turakin emphasized that Ngaski’s natural wealth must be harnessed legally and in partnership with credible stakeholders. “Ngaski welcomes investment—but only within the bounds of tradition, legality, and community development,” he stated.

The tour, announced through the Office of the 1st San Turakin Ngaski, is not ceremonial, but a solemn obligation—safeguarding ancestral heritage, harnessing economic opportunity, and securing prosperity for future generations.

During inspections in Makawa and Sabawa Doguwa Villages—key mining communities—the traditional leader signaled not only concern for environmental integrity but a firm commitment to ending exploitative practices. Declaring the era of unchecked operations over, he vowed that unlawful miners would face legal consequences. He reaffirmed the palace’s resolve to uphold justice, equity, and the dignity of the Ngaski people.

Ambassador Ojo expressed deep appreciation to His Royal Majesty, Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu-Abdullahi, CON, Emir of Yauri, lauding his fatherly guidance, visionary leadership, and commitment to preserving the Emirate’s cultural and economic integrity.

He also commended His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Tanko, the respected District Head of Ngaski, for his unwavering role in promoting peace and preserving the dignity of the land.

Speaking to reporters at an active mining site, Ambassador Ojo decried the presence of unauthorized individuals engaged in dangerous and illegal activities. “It is troubling to witness unlicensed persons handling explosives they barely understand, endangering lives and threatening the peace of our communities,” he said.

In a firm royal pronouncement, he urged all licensed operators to commence full-scale exploration or risk revocation. At the same time, he extended a clarion call to willing investors and patriotic citizens to engage lawfully under traditional oversight.

Outlining a broader vision, Ambassador Ojo stressed the importance of corporate social responsibility in mining investments. Operators, he said, will be required to contribute meaningfully to community development—through job creation, educational support, and provision of clean water.

“Through these lawful operations,” he declared, “Ngaski and the Yauri Emirate will rise. Our youths will find purpose, our women will be empowered, and development will reach every hamlet.”

The Office of the 1st San Turakin Ngaski reaffirmed its collaboration with government regulatory agencies, security forces, and community leaders to ensure the lawful and sustainable development of Ngaski’s mineral resources.

The tour will culminate in a comprehensive report and advisory framework to guide reforms and investments across the region.

Under the sovereign mandate of tradition and the call of duty, Ambassador Ojo Patrick Idowu has risen in noble stewardship. His tour is not merely administrative—it is a royal declaration that Ngaski’s lands shall no longer be defiled by illegality nor neglected in silence.

With the voice of the throne, he summons order to the mining fields—urging licensed operators to act with integrity and warning the unlicensed to desist.

In his words and actions, a new future is being carved—one where Ngaski’s wealth serves its people, where youths find direction, and where the land yields prosperity under just and lawful hands.

Guided by the wisdom of District Head Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Tanko, the Emirate stands on the threshold of renaissance.

Let all who hear heed this royal charge: Ngaski shall prosper. The throne has spoken. And the land shall answer.
