Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has visited the family of late Nollywood make-up artist Abigail Frederick in Ikot Udoma, Eket Local Government Area, where he consoled the bereaved family. Ekerete Udoh, the chief press secretary to the governor, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Eket on Saturday. Mr Udoh said the governor, who described the death of the artist as very unfortunate, showed deep emotions and shared in the pain of the grieving family members. Eniola Ajao’s debut cinema production, ‘Ajakaju (Beast of Two Worlds)’, grossed N101.2 million within five days of its release. A renowned veteran Nollywood actor Dejumo Lewis famous for his role as Kabiyesi in “The Village Headmaster” film is dead. He died at the age of 80. Actor Saidi Balogun shared the news of his death on Instagram in the early hours of December 23, 2023. The cause of his death has not been disclosed. Saidi Balogun wrote, “Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace. The Marlian Music CEO, Afeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, has finally reacted to the stories making round that he had hand in the death of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka MohBad, saying they were resolving their issues before the untimely passing of the ‘Peace’ crooner.
