2019 Elections on to a Peaceful Start as Buhari, Atiku Casts Their Votes

So far, so good, the much awaited and expected election that was postponed from last weekend 16, has began on a peaceful note across the country, SHARPEDGENEWS Online, can report.

 

In Daura, Katsina State, the home town of President Muhammadu Buhari, where he voted accompanied by his wife, Aisha, the process was peaceful as there was no report of violence or machine failure.

However, when a NAN reporter, asked him, if he would congratulate his opponent, should he lose, he said: “I will not lose, I will congratulate myself.”

His counterpart and presidential candidate of the PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, was also earlier in the day casting his vote in a Peaceful manner in his country home, Adamawa State, North-east Nigeria.

While information reaching us from Akure, Ondo State capital and Enugu State is gladenning that voting is being peacefully conducted across the states.

There were however reports of two persons killed from clashes between APC and PDP supporters in Ebonyi State. The CP, has assured that his command is on top of the game.

In Abuja and several satellite towns, the election is also being peacefully conducted even though some voters around NYSC camp of Kubwa, complained of not sighting their names on INEC register which created a temporary tensed situation until the security men intervened
