2019: Kano NASS APC Caucus Passes Vote of Confidence on Buhari, Ganduje

By HarunaSalami

Kano state APC caucus in both chambers of the National Assembly Thursday passed a vote of confidence on Governor Umar Ganduje

and President Muhammad Buhari for outstanding performance.

The APC caucus led by Senator Kabiru Gaya and co-chaired by Hon. Ado Doguwa while briefing journalists at the National Assembly said the decision to pass a vote of confidence was a follow up to the mega APC rally held in Kano last Saturday.

According to Senator Gaya, “as stakeholders in Kano state, we hereby state unequivocally that His Excellency, Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has performed creditably well in the saddle of captainship of the state and has therefore earned our unalloyed support and vote of confidence.

The caucus therefore enjoined the governor not to be “distracted by the agents of darkness”, but to keep up the good works he is doing.

The group while reafirng support for President Buhari called on him to be wary of people they referred to as ” moles in the corridors of power who are more interested in their own personal ambition” rather than the success of his adminstration.

On the view of the caucus on Ganduje bribe videos, Sen. Gaya simply said the case is before the court and it would be subjudice to comment on it, adding that they were sure the governor will be vindicated.
