Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, on Wednesday, submitted his completed nomination form in fulfillment of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s guideline in his quest to return to the red chambers to continue the good work to the people of the FCT.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that recently the party announced its new closing date for the purchase of forms to Tuesday, April 19, while the last day for the submission of completed forms was extended to Wednesday, April 20.
The party has equally fixed Friday, April 22 for the screening of aspirants vying for Houses of Assembly seats, April 25 for the screening of National Assembly seats while, April 26 for governorship seats and April 27, for presidential aspirants.
Addressing the party executives members and supporters, the Senator reassure them that he will do more in ensuring the rights and privileges of the people of the FCT are protected through the instrumentality of legislation at the red chambers.
The people’s Senator in his usual manner used the occasion after the submission at the State PDP office to distribute five hundred and sixty two (562) motorcycles to party officials and some selected Committed youths accross the sixty two (62) electoral wards in the FCT.
Responding to the onerous gesture, the PDP Zonal executives and the entire leadership of the PDP FCT officials who were at the venue to receive the people’s Senator led by state chairman Sunday Zaka, thanked the Senator for his benevolence and continuous commitment to the party owing to his role at the just concluded area council elections.
The party officials also used the occasion in a form of expressing their gratitude to ENDORSED the lone Senator, Philip Aduda mfr as the Party’s sole candidate to return to the senatorial seat unopposed.
The state party chairman concluded by thanking the Senator on behalf of all the beneficiaries which he said would go along way to boost their morale to work for the party and also reposed confidence on the Senator as he charge him to keep on the good works through his tremendous ongoing constituency projects seen all over the FCT aside the viable bills passed so far at the National Assembly to better the lots of the FCT residents.
