The leadership of Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) with the mandate to canvass for the candidature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the executive members for the FCT zonal chapter.
The inauguration ceremony, which was held recently in Abuja, attracted many APC bigwigs across the country aimed at mobilising and sensitising the public for the support of Tinubu.
Alhaji Usman Yusuf Abdulkarim, the TSO Abuja zonal coordinator, in his address, appreciated the efforts of the Officials of TSO for taking the message of the organisation to the people and urged them to take the inauguration ceremony as a formal way of inspiring them to do more for Tinubu as 2023 draws nearer.
He said the inaugural exercise was a clear signal for TSO activities in FCT, stressing that no one would be left behind to ensure that APC as a party succeeds while Tinubu also succeeds as president in the general elections.
“I need not to bore us with the personality of our principal in whoms regard we are set out to navigate people of good will of our party to do everything possible for him to become the flag bearer of our party in the forth coming Presidential primaries of APC.
“His footprints in the Annals of Nigerian politics are as crystal clear as the stars in the sky, like other great leaders across the world, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu brims with great ideas that transform the society.
“That innate gift, without a doubt explains his phenomenal success as Lagos state helmsman from 1999 to 2007, In Lagos, his legacies dot the landscape, they remain imperishable still.
“It is the way to go for the next election and we need not seat on the fence but join the team to prevail on our delegates to do what is noble and right at this point in time,” he said.
Hajia Hadiza Kolo, the Abuja zonal Deputy coordinator, on her part described Tinubu as a marketable and credible candidate for the 2023 Presidential race, adding that he has always played an inclusive politics in the country.
She assured that the coordinators and EXCO’s will do everything possible to hit the ground running in the support for Tinubu to emerge the flag bearer of APC in the 2023 Presidential race.
However, she called on government at all levels and organisations to provide and support women with the platforms to voice their opinions and ideas effective participation of women in leadership roles.
The Deputy coordinator also called on women in the country to support TSO, register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and take advantage of their numerical strength, education and global democratic trend for the development of democracy.
“I promise to do everything possible with the EXCO to hit the ground running so that our names will be remembered as men and women who played a critical part in the history that will be made tomorrow,” she said. (NAN)
