The Progressive Governors Forum has endorsed President Bola Tinubu as the sole candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 presidential election.
The endorsement took place at the APC National Summit held in Abuja.
Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Chairman of the Forum, moved the motion, which was seconded by Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State.
Speaking on behalf of the governors, Uzodimma pledged to mobilise resources and ensure Tinubu’s victory in all APC-controlled states.
The governors expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and reform agenda, vowing to deliver their states in the 2027 elections.
The move follows a recent vote of confidence passed by North Central APC governors, who praised Tinubu’s developmental efforts and inclusive governance style. (NAN)
