WikiLeaks May Shut Down as Julian Assange Faces Possible Deportation to Sweden

Julian Assange left the High Court in London on Wednesday Andrew Winning/Reuters

The famous dare-devil deep throat website, WikiLeaks looks set to wound down operations following Wednesday’s ruling by a British court, that Julian  Assange its founder and Chief Excutive must be deported to face sexual criminal charges in Sweden. Assange has two weeks to appeal the ruling.

And for his courage and determination to screw with forces of nature by exposing US diplomatic hypocrisy and leaking of sensitive diplomatic cables on countries like Nigeria, Britain, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, France and the U.S., fund donors have withheld regular contributions to WikiLeaks. Money has dried up, so the website may close shop.
