The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed has assured that the ongoing lock down will not lead to delay in the payment of salaries of civil servants.
She gave this assurance in response to Journalists’ questions on Monday, at a press briefing held at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja.
“Salaries are paid traditionally when we do FAAC, so immediately FAAC is concluded then there is funds to pay salaries”, she said.
