Over 1000 Graduate Trainees To Assume Duty in NNPC

A set of newly recruited graduate trainees numbering over 1000 are to assume duty at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on Monday 4th May,2020 according to a press release signed by the Corporation’s spokesman Dr. Kennie Obateru.

 

THowever, the statement added that they would be assuming duty virtually, at first, in observance of the extant protocol on social distancing and reduced number of persons at the workplace among allied measures put in place by the Federal Government to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. They had earlier completed their online documentation.

A date for their physical assumption will be announced by the Corporation later, after monitoring the COVID-19 situation and taking into consideration the Federal Government’s directives.

The release states that the Group Managing Director, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari was excited about the assumption of duty of the graduate trainees saying that, it is part of the succession plan to assure the future of the Corporation.

This development, the release added, marks the successful completion of the Corporation’s 2019/2020 recruitment exercise.
