The Director, Public Affairs, Dr. Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, on Friday stated unequivocally that Nigeria’s broadband penetration attained 41.27% as at the month of June, 2020.
The achievement and upward push, observers argued can be partly attributed to the agressive drive, collaboration and synergy embarked upon by NCC, the various state governments and the unrelenting support of the supervising ministry.
The achievement is also coming due to the drastic reduction in the cost of the Right of Ways (RoWs) as conceded by Ekiti, Kaduna, Imo and other state governments.
