The recently approved Oba-Elect of Ayede-Ogbese in Akure North Local Council of Ondo State, Prince Ajibola Oluyede has shown deep gratitude to Arakunkunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the government of Ondo State the opportunity granted him to attain this royal position.
The Oba-Elect who was reacting to the approval of his selection at the state executive council meeting also thanked God and the entire people of Ayede-Ogbese for choosing him through their kingmakers and their leader to be their kabiyesi.
According to him “ I am very pleased about it, I thank God who has given me the opportunity and enabled me to attain this position. I also thank the people of Ayede-Ogbese for choosing me. I thank the governor and the Ondo State government for their approval”.
The legal icon also pledged his total commitment to the development of this community “ saying that currently, the governor has shown a lot of vision and developments in many of these areas of development. “ My business is to really assist the government out of the natural and numerous resources that are so prevalent in our community in particular”.
The chairman of kingmakers in Ayede-Ogbese, High Chief Femi Fajemibimi, the Olisa of Ayede-Ogbse said that it was a well-deserved and welcome development for the community. He expressed his utmost happiness for the approval and prayed that God will lead the oba-elect to the desired promise land. Also High chief Oladimeji Abitogun, the Odopetu of Ayede-Ogbese during his chat with newsmen thanked the governor and the executive council for the approval of the oba-elect Prince Ajibola Olaleye Oluyede to fill the vacant stool of Alayede of Ayede-Ogbese.
High chief Abitogun a kingmaker described the approval as a sign of great things to come with the expectation of a positive turnaround in both traditional and economic development of Ayede-Ogbese through good visionary leadership quality.
In a similar vein, Prince Tunji Aladeokun thanked the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for making the community to actualized their dreams. He said all the youths in the community were happy about the right choice of the oba-elect, with high expectations that the development of Ayede-Ogbese has started with these steps.
Prince Aladeokun opined that the new Alayede would facilitate tremendous economic development and bring crime to the barest minimum.
A prominent figure in the community, Chief Toyin Fasakin said the approval granted to the oba-elect was a soul revival in Ayede-Ogbese saying, they are all happy because “we have been looking forward to it in view of the calibre of the person involved.” He said their development of the community was not negotiable owing to the social status of the oba-elect before his selection by the kingmakers. “ Someone like him will surely attract development to the town and the multiplier effects will be felt within and outside the community”
