Chief Momoh Oboh, Community Leader and Philanthropist in AA2 community in the Kuje Area Council of the FCT, has called on Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) to quickly fix the damaged polls of 33 KVA opposite Baptist Church at Sundaba junction in Kuje.

Chief Momoh made the call while inspecting the level of damage caused by a reckless truck driver who ramped into the polls that has caused a total black out in the area, adding that the driver has been apprehended and in police custody.

The Chief described the level of damage as worrisome, saying that if there had been light during the accident it would have caused a catastrophy in the community.

However, he called on AEDC to quickly fix the damaged polls to help cushion the plight of the residents as they prepare for Christmas and New year celebrations.

He added that Kuje was fast-growing and there was the need to have a steady power supply and fix some bypass roads to decongest traffic during rush hours. (NAN)
