NNPP House of Assembly aspirant condemns Kogi bomb blast

Chief Mrs Kuburat Kolo, Kogi State House of Assembly aspirant under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has condemned in its totality the recent bomb blast that occurred at one Omofemi Bar at Okepadi Quaters, Kabba, Kogi State.

Mrs Kolo who made the commendation in a press statement issued in Abuja, however called on the state government to adequately address security challenges in the state to help the people.

The aspirant who hails from Okehi Constituency also condoled with the families of the deceased and described the incident as barbaric, inhuman and not in the interest of national development.

However, she said security challenges has been rampant, hence the need to address the menace was paramount.

“If all our citizens are being killed, who will remain in the state? Of what interest is it on our people if they are being killed.

She said fighting insecurity is not a single-handed job “but is a collective bargaining for peace, so let’s do it and we must put sentiments aside and tackle insecurity in the state. (NAN)
