Amb. Osakwe, Al-Mustapha in alliance to salvage Nigeria

Amb. Johnson Osakwe, from South-South and Maj. Hamza Al-Mustapha rtd, from North-East have decided to change the political events and situations in Nigeria by imbibing the spirit of unity, ditribalisation and political willingness to fight insecurity in Nigeria.

They made this pledged during a media chart under the Action Alliance party (AA) in Abuja.

In his address Amb. Osakwe opined that it is common in this country that people allow tribalism and nepotism to shadow their political ambition but to change the narrative according to Amb. Osakwe we in Action Alliance believe in team work, unity and empowerment 0f the youths.

Amb. FELIX Osakwe further advised the Federal government to look into ASUU strike with great urgency as our youths are exposed to various degree of dangers due to the strike.

“You think of another Minister, ASUU have been on strike for God’s safety, our children children are at home suffering they have no hope of what will happen tomorrow and the next thing is for the Minister to pay another 100 million for nomination forms not worried about what is happening to our children.

“Its like f am not mistaken sir, we seems not to care about this generation and the future generation, we seems not to have what it takes, what is happening her in Nigeria sir, it seems we have no what it takes, the vision starting from there we are careless, so what is happening here today in Nigeria sir is not acceptable.

“One of the choice of the party, you know one of the loyal party, Action Alliance, if you look at the logo you will see the sign of a star that sign is the sign of Good navigator, then when you look at the circle that is the way of saying everybody come on board one you are here you are secured, then when you talk about the future it means alot, so we choose that Action Alliance by the Grace of God that is the party that will emerge as the President of Nigeria.

On his part, Hamza Al-Mustapha, however called for state policing in the country to help curb insecurity besetting it.

According to him, having reviewed the state of the nation, he said if elected there will need to amend the 1999 Constitution to devolve powers to states with respect to security architecture that will give birth to state police.

“I want to believe that the solution, I will say but few now in the area of insecurity, the solution as far as I am concerned, there is need for state policing and if I am the President by the Grace of God and am been allowed, the first thing I will do is to make sure that we have state police and the commissioner of police will be posted to the presidency directly, however we will still have the IG.

“This is what I want from example, if you are from Imo state and you are a police well experienced, I will ask you to go back to Imo state and recruit more people from the state at the end of the day, there is no way an intruder from nowhere will come into your state and begin to destroy things.

Howev, ther are nonetheless also factions that are against State Police but accept that there could be other reforms to improve the welfare of police officers and boost their morale via other legislative proposals outside of amending the Constitution.

Meanwhile, he called for transparency, sincerity of purpose, deep discipline and political leadership, saying that these were critical to happiness.

He noted that the only way to have a new Nigeria is to bring our youths and women together and be part of what we are doing not just promising them employment.
