The trial of Seun Kuti was delayed as the magistrate, Adeola Olatubosun, was absent from the Yaba Magistrates’ court in Lagos on May 23. No explanation was given for the absence.
The Afro beat star was taken to Panti police station upon hearing of the magistrate’s absence, and the case has been rescheduled for May 24.
Recall that last week, the police approached the court for an extension of its order to remand Seun till Tuesday, May 23.
