NBTE visit : Nacabs sets for accreditation of its HND programmes

Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga Nasarawa State, says it is set for Resource Inspection towards the accreditation of its Higher National Diploma ( HND) four programmes by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Mr David Abuluya, the Proprietor of the School, who is also the President of Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide stated this while briefing newsmen ahead of July 11- 14th, 2023 Resource inspection visit to the school by NBTE team.

He said that the institution has the necessary manpower and equipment for the accreditation of its Higher National Diploma programmes.

He listed the programmes for the resource inspection to include Accounting, Business Adminstration, Computer Science and Statistics.

According to him, I can say that we are ready, even if it is going to be today. “Everything that we need to do, we have done that.

” As you can see, we are set for the inspection resource as we have the required and qualifed staff, adequate facilities and equipment.

” We have well equipped resource center for Business Adminstration/ Accounting, Statistics laboratory and Computer ( software) laboratory among others.

Abuluya assured parents and government of quality education in the school.

” I want to re- assure that we will continue to maintain academic standard in the school. We don’t tolerate indiscipline, examination mal practice an other negative acts in this school.

” We will not compromise standard of education in this Institution,” he said.

Abuluya, who is the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State expressed hope that its HND programmes will scale through resource inspection for the accreditation of its programmes.

He said the institution was doing everything possible to achieve 100 percent full accreditation status for its programmes.

He described accreditation as significant, saying it offers ample opportunity to have quality assurance evaluation of the polytechnic programmes .

He assured of his continued readiness to improve on the welfare of staff and students for the overall development of the education sector.(NAN)
