.. Sanwo-Olu becomes First Passenger
The much talked about Lagos Rail Mass Transit Blue Line System has begun commercial operations.
The Managing Director, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, Mrs Abimbola Akinajo, had on Thursday announced that the Lagos Blue Line Rail would kick-start commercial operations on Monday, September 4.
As promised, on Monday, the blue rail started operations with the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, being the first passenger to ride on the train during its inaugural ride as operations hit the ground running.
The governor boarded the train from the Marina terminal enroute Mile 2.
