The Senior Staff Association, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH) Gwagwalada, has elected its new Executive members to oversee the affairs of the association for the next eight years in the hospital.
The Information Unit reports that on Octobe 12, after a keenly contested elections by clinical and non-clinical staff, Georgina Okoro emerged as the new Chairman and Ibrahim Lawal as Vice Chairman of the association.
Other elected officials include; Lamda Ramnap as Secretary, Okwesilieze Azuka Oby as Treasurer, Allahmagani Theresa Financial secretary, Ugbo James Publicity secretay, Bamoi Garba Assistant Secretary and Ibrahim Abubakar as Trustee.
The new chairman pledged to consolidate on credible achievements and ensure that welfare of members continues to be top priority, while the officials have been inaugurated and have fully assumed their duties. .
