The Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development (CEPASD) is pleased to announce the appointment of new board members, further solidifying its commitment to achieving sustainable peace and development in Africa.
Dr. Macjohn Nwaobiala
Dr. Macjohn Nwaobiala brings over three decades of extensive experience in public service, having served as the Former Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education. His wealth of experience in the NGO sector, including his tenure as a board member of ActionAid Nigeria, will undoubtedly enhance CEPASD’s impact.
Dr. Arthur-Martins Aginam
As a Communications, Public Policy, and Peacebuilding specialist, Dr. Arthur-Martins Aginam holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Leeds and a Doctor of Philosophy in Global Communications and Development from Simon Fraser University. His experience as the Former Executive Director of The Kukah Centre and Head of Secretariat of the National Peace Committee will be invaluable to CEPASD.
Olapeju Ibekwe
Olapeju Ibekwe, CEO of Sterling One Foundation, is a seasoned sustainability leader with nearly two decades of corporate experience. Her expertise in women and youth development, as well as her leadership roles in various boards, will significantly contribute to advancing CEPASD’s mission.
Lydia Odeh
As the Chief of Party, USAID SCALE Project, Lydia Odeh brings over 10 years of experience in capacity building, policy formulation, and peacebuilding. Her expertise in leading development activities in Nigeria will support CEPASD’s works and organizational development.
Audrey Odogu
Audrey Odogu, former Microsoft business development and strategic partnership expert, boasts over 13 years of experience in leading social impact programs. Her expertise in non-profit management and co-creative processes will further CEPASD’s strategic development and advancement.
Precious Eze
Precious Eze, an Erasmus Mundus Scholar with three Master’s Degrees in International Law of Global Security, Peace, and Development, brings a unique perspective to the board. As a member of the EU Youth Sounding Board, Precious offers advice to aid EU’s external actions in governance, peace, security, and migration spheres in Nigeria, particularly focusing on youth.
