of Power, Professor Barth Nnaji today resigns his appointment as Minister of Power.

Details of his resignation is still sketchy as at the time of filling  this report but there are indications that it may not be unconnected with the current face-off between him and the Union.

Meanwhile President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has accepted his resignation with immediate effect and wishes him well in his future endeavours. This was contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President, Dr. Reuben Abati.

“President Jonathan thanks Prof. Nnaji for his services to the nation under the present administration and wishes him well in his future endeavours.” Said Abati
