Umana, may have been summarily sacked by his principal, Governor Godswill Akpabio
An associate of the Governor did not contradict the fact of the news tip that Umana has been removed but said that the SSG’s office is under lock and keys.
However our source said “Confirmed: Umana Okon Umana, the Secretary to the Government of Akwa Ibom State, has been removed from office by Godswill Akpabio”. The decision by Akpabio came after a heated argument between him and Umana over Umana’s audacity to declare his intention to contest for the governorship of the State.
