May Day: Adewoyin Congratulates Nigerian Workers, Promises To Take IPMAN To Greater Heights

Chief Kolawole Adewoyin, the recently affirmed National President president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has congratulated Nigerian workers on the occasion of Workers’ Day, pledging renewed commitment to both the association and the nation’s workforce.

In a statement released Wednesday from the IPMAN National secretariat, Adewoyin commended Nigerian workers for their resilience, patriotism and vital contributions to national development, particularly amid the country’s ongoing economic challenges.

“I congratulate all workers in Nigeria as we mark Workers’ Day,” Adewoyin said. “Your dedication and sacrifices are the backbone of our nation. Despite the current economic hardship, your commitment to duty continues to drive Nigeria forward.”

Adewoyin, who was recently affirmed by the Supreme Court as IPMAN’s national president, also addressed members of the association, promising decisive action to resolve longstanding industry challenges.

“As your new National President, I assure all IPMAN members that we are already working to address the issues affecting our association,”

Adewoyin said. “We are determined to take IPMAN to greater heights and ensure that the problems facing our members become a thing of the past.”

He further expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the deregulation of the downstream sector, which has led to the establishment of more refineries, but appealed for additional government support for IPMAN members.

“We commend President Tinubu’s reforms in the petroleum sector, especially the deregulation policy. However, we urge the federal government to provide further assistance to IPMAN members as we navigate these changes,” Adewoyin said.
