Abuja Nigeria — The Youth Model African Union (YMAU), proudly unveils its new logo ahead of its most anticipated event yet — the 5th Extraordinary Youth Model African Union Summit — set to take place from November 5–7, 2025, at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The unveiling of the new YMAU logo marks a bold step forward in reimagining the voice, unity, and leadership of African youth across all 55 member states of the African Union.
The refreshed logo captures the spirit of Pan-Africanism, diplomacy, youth leadership, and continental development that the Summit embodies.
Applications will officially open tomorrow, July 1st, 2025, for young leaders, changemakers, students, and professionals across Africa who are passionate about diplomacy, policy-making, and the African Union Agenda 2063.
This year’s summit is themed:
“Building a United Front to Advance the Cause of Justice and Peace for Africans and African Descent through Reparations”
— aligning directly with the African Union’s 2025 Theme of the Year.
The 5th edition of Youth Model African Union Summit, organized in collaboration with the African Union Commission and UNDP regional office Adidas Ababa, will feature:
Simulations of AU Assembly, Peace and Security Council, ECOSOC, and Pan-African Parliament
Participation in the African Union Youth Day Event at AU Headquarters
Keynote sessions, cultural performances, and youth-led policy debates
City tour of Addis Ababa and cultural exchange
Recognition as AU Agenda 2063 Youth Ambassadors
Be among the 100 Most Transformational Young Africans by African Union
