The body of late Mama Saraya Danbasa Vani, Mother to Mrs Monica Labah Daniel, Deputy Director, Store, Nasarawa State House of Assembly has been committed to Mother Earth.
The funeral service took place today Friday in Garaku kokona LGA of Nasarawa State amidst eulogies and good testimonies for a woman described as mother to all, who dedicated her life to service to humanity.
The funeral Service of Mrs, Saraya Danbasa, PDP Woman Leader, Kokona LG took place today Friday at ECWA Bishara 1 Garaku kokona LG where mourners, clergymen, others described her as a devoted and committed Christian.
It was reported that her final enterment took place at her residence in Garaku, Kokona LGA.
Speaking at the Funeral Service, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau said late Mama had lived a life worthy of emulation by all.
“First, I want to condole with the family for this great lost, is not for the family alone but myself and the entire Kokona LG, Mama has been good to me, and to everyone,
Mama was a mother to all, we will all missed her” he said.
The Speaker emphasized that death is a necessary way for everybody, hence the need for people to give selfless service as no one knows when it will come.
Delivery a sermon, Reverend Bitrus Kaya admonished believers to unite themselves with God, amend their ways with God and fellow human beings as death can come at anytime and to anyone no matter how influential he is.
He reminded people to love one another and be good ambassadors of the society at all times.
It was reported that the management of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly led by the Deputy Clerk Mr. Paul Okugya, Permanent Member 3, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Service Commission, Isah K. Obagu, Commissioner of Education Hon. John D.W. Manman, Chairman, Kokona LGA, and member representing Akwanga South at the State Assembly Hon. Yusuf Chumbaya among others
paid their last respect to the deceased.
