The Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate and Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno (Borno North), alongside Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan (Borno Central), has hailed the successful conduct of the local government elections in Borno State.
Attending the official swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Council Chairmen and Chairperson, the distinguished lawmakers described the transition as a vital milestone in reinforcing democratic structures at the grassroots.
