The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disclosed that three incumbent governors seeking re-election were excused from Saturday’s screening exercise due to pressing official engagements in their respective states.
The affected governors are Gov. Sim Fubara, Gov. Agbu Kefas and Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Chairman of the APC and head of the Screening Committee for Sitting Governors Seeking Re-election, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, made the disclosure while briefing journalists on Saturday after the screening exercise held at the Plateau State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
According to him, the affected governors will subsequently be screened by the APC National Working Committee (NWC).
