By Victor Okoye

The Coordinator, Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB), Bayelsa Chapter, Dame Julie Donli, OON has urged eligible Nigerians to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Donli made the appeal on Tuesday, stressing the importance of participating in the electoral process ahead of the 2027 general elections.

She described the PVC as a constitutional right and a vital tool for democratic participation.

“Your PVC is more than a card. It is your voice and your power to influence leadership and national development,” she said.

According to her, every vote counts in shaping Nigeria’s future and strengthening democratic institutions.

“By obtaining your PVC, you are taking an active step toward building a stronger, more prosperous and united Nigeria,” Donli said.

She said citizens could use their votes to promote good governance and support policies that improve lives.

“Our votes can influence decisions that affect our communities, our children and generations yet unborn,” she added.

Donli called on youths, women, community leaders, professionals, artisans and traders to register without delay.

“Do not wait until the last minute. Register now, collect your PVC and encourage others to do the same,” she said.

She noted that the PVC confirms voter registration and guarantees citizens’ participation in choosing their leaders.

“The PVC gives every eligible Nigerian a voice in determining the future of our nation and communities,” she said.

Donli said active voter participation remained essential for sustaining democracy and accountable governance.

“With our PVCs, we can strengthen democracy through active participation and responsible leadership choices,” she said.

She urged Nigerians to prepare early for the 2027 elections by completing their voter registration process.

“Let us act now and ensure our voices are heard in 2027. Get your PVC today and be part of Nigeria’s future,” Donli said. (NAN)
