Flagged off by Governor Uba Sani on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the reconstruction project marks a critical milestone under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Serving as the fastest, most effective socio-economic corridor connecting the Southwest and Northwest geopolitical zones, this vital transport artery is set to revitalize commercial trade, boost agricultural supply chains, and enhance inter-state security across more than ten states.
Delivering the President address, Governor Uba Sani reaffirmed the administration’s resolve to restore critical national infrastructure, ease transportation burdens, and drive inclusive economic growth across rural communities.
Minister Dave Umahi led senior officials from the Federal Ministry of Works to the high-profile ceremony, which drew key lawmakers, traditional rulers, security chiefs, and community leaders.
Upon completion, the reconstructed highway will dramatically lower travel times, elevate road safety, encourage private investment, and cement long-term stability and economic transformation throughout Kaduna State and the wider region.
