Antoine Griezmann reveals the player who he feels will win the 2017 Ballon d’Or award.
The Atletico Madrid star has favoured Juventus stopper Gianluigi Buffon for the award.
He also believes that the Old Lady will edge Real Madrid in the Champions League final. Antoine Griezmann disclosed that it is neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Lionel Messi as the winner for the 2017 Ballon d’Or.
The Atletico Madrid star said Juventus stopper Gianluigi Buffon is likely to win the prestigious award this year.
The French striker also believes that the Old Lady will edge Los Blancos in the Champions League final in Cardiff to win Europe’s biggest title.
Antoine Griezmann, the former Real Sociedad forward and current Athletico Madrid forward came third behind Ronaldo and Messi in last year’s Ballon d’Or award.
He said this in an interview with El Larguero: “Juventus will win the Champions League and therefore Gigi Buffon the Ballon d’Or.”
Sharpedge sports understands that the last person to win the elite award that was not Messi or Ronaldo was Brazil’s Kaka in 2007.
