Manchester United have announced that they have reached an agreement with Benfica over the signing of Victor Lindelof. According to reports, the Swedish defender will cost United a whopping £35million as Jose Mourinho is looking to bolster his squad following a decent first season with the club.
The Red Devils confirmed the news in a recent post on their official twitter account. Victor Lindelof. The English giants posted: “We are pleased to announce we have reached agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof.” Sharpedgenews can confirm that the 22-year-old is subject to medicals, international clearance and personal terms with the Manchester club.
Lindelof is presently away on international duty with the Swedish national team and he is set for medical before signing a five-year deal.
Sharpedgenews earlier reported that his compatriot Zlatan Ibrahimovic was recently released by the Old Trafford side after spending one season with the club.
