The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has expressed joy over the suspension of the strike action earlier declared by the National Union Of Electricity Employees which commenced Wednesday. The company’s full services are therefore fully restored.
This is contained in a statement made available Thursday to the media by the Company’s Head of Corporate Communications.
“In line with our tradition of service delivery, we have also informed our staff of this development and directed the full return to duty posts in franchise area. Customers should therefore look forward to our usual commitment to service delivery”.
The Company expressed appreciation to the stakeholders for their commitment to the resolution of the issues as well as to its customers for their understanding.
They also used the opportunity to admonish customers to clear any outstanding debts to avoid being disconnected.
