NNPC Disengages 400, Redeploys Staff

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has retired over 400 of it’s staff, SHARPEDGENews authoritatively learnt on Thursday.

 

 Reliable Source disclosed that there has been nationwide reshuffling of top management staff at the corporation even as this involves

several disengagements, fresh appointments, transfers and redeployment.

 As part of the reshuffling, Mr. Kehinde Obateru currently of the London office, according to sources, is to take over the position of Group General Manager, Public Affairs from Mr.Samson Makoji who had held the position in acting capacity since the former holder of the office, Ndu Ughamadu, retired last year. Sharpedgenews also gathered that Mr. Gboyega Bello will be moving to take the place of Kehinde Obateru as the new spokesperson of the London Office.

 According to sources, most of the disengaged staff were those who would have been due for retirement within the next two years but for one reason or the other had exit earlier.
