Ajah E. Emmanuel proudly served as Nigerian Ambassador to the United Kingdom at the Diplomatic Conference 2025, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. The high-level conference, organized by the African Transformer Institute in partnership with the Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development (CEPASD), brought together diplomats, foreign affairs professionals, legislators, development agencies, and aspiring diplomats to deepen engagement on Nigeria’s foreign policy agenda, diplomacy, multilateralism and international cooperation.

During the Diplomatic Simulation Exercise, Ajah E. Emmanuel served as the Nigerian Ambassador to the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, where he engaged in robust bilateral negotiations aimed at strengthening Nigeria–UK relations.

His participation was particularly strategic as he represented Nigeria in the Western Bloc, focusing on key themes such as trade and investment, education and cultural exchange, migration policy, and global security cooperation.

Throughout the simulation, Emmanuel demonstrated exceptional diplomatic skill in articulating Nigeria’s foreign policy priorities while negotiating potential frameworks for enhanced bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and the UK. The simulation exercise was designed to mirror real-world diplomatic challenges and encourage delegates to think critically, negotiate strategically, and uphold Nigeria’s national interest.

The conference also featured keynote addresses and participation from top-tier diplomatic missions, including the European Union, High Commission of Botswana, United Nations, High Commission of Canada, and Embassy of Germany.

Delegates including Emmanuel were officially inducted into the newly launched Diplomatic Assembly, a pan-African platform for youth leaders, diplomats, and policy professionals to advance diplomacy, multilateralism, and global cooperation in line with Nigeria’s national development priorities.

“Young leaders like Ajah Emmanuel are a strong symbol of Nigeria’s growing diplomatic future. His performance at the simulation reinforces our belief in youth-driven diplomacy and international engagement,” said Igweshi Augustine, Director of the African Transformer Institute and Convener of the Diplomatic Conference.

Ajah E. Emmanuel’s contribution to the conference showcases the rising generation of foreign policy thinkers committed to shaping a proactive and globally respected Nigeria on the world stage.
