Ajimobi Finally Destroys Ayefele’s Mullti-Million dollar Radio, Musical Studios

By Oladimeji Abitogun
An early Sunday morning defiance of a litigation by Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State is the demolition of musical studios and a Frequency Modulation (F.M) radio station is drawing global condemnation.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi is taking flaks and knocks on what most people view as inhumane treatment of the disabled and vulnerable citizens. The demolished edifice at Challenge in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State is owned by a paraleptic, Mr Olayinka Ayefele, who suffered serious injuries in a 1997 auto wreck. The building in which is multi-million naira equipment was also affected is valued at about two million dollars.

Ajimobi’s destructive squad allegedly stormed the Challenge premise of the Ayefele’s property where his Fresh F.M was located at about 7.am. Masses of the squad were bid to be menacing and appeared under substance influence. They moved quickly, in spite if the law, which would have given at least six months, if any such destruction would take place. The property owner was only given one week.

The government of Nigeria gives no support, in terms of social security, to its vulnerable citizens. Such citizens hardly have access to public offices and officials in Nigeria. The success of Yinka Ayefele has been iconic. He struggled and attained success in his entertainment despite the hostils abd harsh condition of a country whose leader often overide the weak and the disabled.

At least Sixty-four employees work in the Ayefele organization. His Fresh F.M maintains remarkable heights in tthe media spree.
It is yet uncertain if the bad political choice described by Yinka Ayefele as a ” political witchhunt” will translate to deficit for the All Progressive Congress ( A.P.C) in the 2019 elections.

However, across the globe the action to demolish combines to attract condemnation as typical of the intolerance being displayed towards the media and opposition in Nigeria. Non-native residents of Ibadan also claim that Governor Ajimobi is demonstrating intolerance towards non-indigenes and businesses not owned by Oyo state natives
