Award: Ndoma-Egba congratulates Otu on Silverbird honour

Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), has congratulated Gov. Bassey Otu of Cross River on his emergence as 2025 Silverbird Man of the Year.

Ndoma-Egba, a former Senate Leader and ex-Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), hailed Otu’s emergence in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

He described the award l as well-deserved, citing the governor’s impact on the lives of Cross River residents since assuming office.

According to him, Otu has always been a man of the people right from his days as a parliamentarian in the National Assembly.

“The award is a well merited honour for a man that has worked assiduously to make a difference in governance and better the lives of Cross Riverian.

“I congratulate our amiable governor for making us proud. Cross Riverians never doubted his capacity to perform, which was why they massively voted for him in 2023 to elect him as their governor,” he said.

Ndoma-Egba added that the governor had justified the trust reposed in him through his performance in office.

He congratulated Otu on the award and wished him continued success in service to the state. (NAN)
