Bank Closes Shops in Lagos, Edo, Others over Protest Conundrum

The management of Polaris Bank, formerly known as Skyebank has issued instructions to all it’s offices and branches across

the country where curfew is being imposed to close shop because of the ongoing protest conundrum arising from the ENDSARS Protest which has gone berserk in some parts of the country.

Following the Jail-breaks on Tuesday in Edo Correctional Centres over 1775 inmates were let loose.

The Edo Governor moved swiftly to impose 24-hour curfew in the state which was followed by Lagos, Ondo and few other states across the country across the geopolitical zones.

Polaris bank in a statement updating it’s customers and staff said:

“Following the curfew imposed in various states, there will be a temporary closure of our branches during the duration of the curfew.”

According to the bank, it considers safety of it’s customers and staff an utmost priority even as it said that customers can still carry out their transactions on the various digital platforms seamlessly.
