Ekotedo is an area in Ibadan that is full of activities of commercial sex workers. At the last count by sharpedgenews.com, there are 15 brothels and sex hot spots in a neighborhood that parades different shades of miscreants and criminals who throng the area at night to transact businesses with commercial sex workers.
Sharpedgenews.com investigations revealed that Ekotedo has the highest numbers of sex spots even though the area in day time buzzles with legitimate business activities.
The area housed the best boutiques in the whole of Ibadan and it would be unthinkable to imagine that the area at night boasts of another business, making it an area that never sleeps.
Further investigations by Sharpedgenews.com revealed that there are inner recesses with cubicles for each sex hawker is their own consulting tents where they attend to every would-be customer whom they usually persuade.
Our correspondent who visited the area discovered that Ekotedo parades all manner of sex hawkers ranging from young and old.
The area would not have attracted media attention but for the unholy act that recently took place in one of the brothels in the area.
Findings by Sharpedgenews.com revealed that one of the sex hawkers who rented one of the rooms to carry out her business in the area became pregnant which she concealed from her colleagues and workers in the brothel.
Further investigation showed that she underwent the rigorous process of delivery herself without the assistance of anybody. And upon delivery she abandoned the baby and ran away.
Sharpedgenews.com was told that two male workers in the brothel who heard the baby’s cry forcefully opened the door and discovered that that sex hawker whose name could not be established has absconded.
Some who spoke with sharpedgenews.com under conditions of anonymity said efforts to locate her proved abortive and that was the reason two male workers in the brothel did the unimaginable thing by setting the baby on fire.
The baby was burnt alive, according to sources who reported the incidence to police in order to avoid disruption to their own business.
