Rashidi Ladoja, the former Governor of Oyo state and Otun-Olubadan of Ibadanland has said he was not interested in wearing any other crown except the Olubadan crown. Mr Ladoja told newsmen at his residence after the Eid prayers that it has always been his target to become an Olubadan and was not going to wear any other crown. The World Bank said on Tuesday that it planned to commit additional 750 million dollars to deepen Nigerians access to electricity through the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP). Olukayode Egbetokun, acting inspector-general of police (IGP), says personnel of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) will no longer carry out VIPs escort and guard duties. A Family Court sitting at Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Monday, ordered the remand of a skit maker, Maruf Abdullahi, popularly known as Trinity Guy in Agodi correctional facility over alleged sexual exploitation of a 10-year-old girl. The court also arraigned Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat, 29, who are parents of the victim on two-count charge of conspiracy and sexual abuse and exploitation alongside the skit maker.
