The Kwande United People Organisation (KWUPO), a socio-cultural group, has appealed to the Federal Government to convert the proposed Federal Polytechnic Adikpo, in Kwande LGA of Benue State to a mega skill acquisition centre. The Media Adviser to the NDPHC, Mr Sanyan Adejokun, said in a statement on Monday that an encounter between the vigilantes and the hoodlums resulted in the death of the vigilante on the night of Nov. 25. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says it has concluded plans to distribute food items donated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Relief Centre (KSRelief) to 16,000 households in Borno State. The households include Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) living in eight camps and host communities of the state.
