Benue Government has slashed all land fees by 50% to encourage residents to regularise their land titles. Mr Bernard Unenge, Benue Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi, on Sunday. “About 50% of all land fees have been slashed, I want to urge the members of the public to grab this opportunity that have been given to them, come forward and take responsibility of all their land titles,” he said. The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Ltd has donated a modern maternity and child complex to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH) to reduce the prevalence of maternal and child mortality in the country.
