Woman Killed After 40-Feet Container Falls On Car In Lagos

A falling 40-feet container killed a woman inside her car at the Lagos end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Friday. LASTMA spokesperson Taofiq Adebayo stated that the articulated truck’s driver and his assistant, who carried the container, fled the scene immediately after the accident occurred. The police command in Imo State said it launched an investigation into the murder of another legal practitioner, Garricks Anyanwu, killed by suspected gunmen a week ago. The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Henry Okoye, disclosed this during a telephone interview on Tuesday.
