MILITARY sources in Nigeria have confirmed to sharpedgenews.com that the murderous Islamic cult in Nigeria, popularly known as Boko Haram, is being routed from all fronts following the tactless choice of the group to attack communication facilities in the country.

This development comes in the wake of the strategic disclosure on Thursday by the state department of the United States that the country’s decision to designate three members of the group as foreign terrorists was as a result of the group’s deliberate actions to undermine the leadership of the Nigerian government as incapable of guaranteeing or enforcing security in the country.

Also on Thursday, the Nigerian Joint Task Force established to rout the outlaw Boko Haram group disclosed that it targeted and killed two operatives of the group who had wanted to wreck mayem against military and civilian persons and installation in Damaturu.

The JTF also announced the arrest of eight other suspected Boko Haram members.

Military sources told sharpedgenews.com that Boko Haram attackers who went after Global Satellite Mobile communication masts had overlooked or underrated the effectiveness of the military’s signal corps, whose installations remains effective even as the GSM facilities in the country continue to be targeted for destruction by the group.

The military source said that Boko Haram “would be ultimately defeated because when compared with Nigeria’s military capabilities, Boko Haram would always be a rag-tag formation.
