Boko Haram: Churches in South west Spend Millions on Security Gargets

In the wake of bombings by the dreaded Boko Haram, churches in the South western part of Nigeria are currently spending fortune to acquire security gargets to prevent being a victim of the Boko Haram menace.

Shapedgenews.com gathered that many Pentecostal churches as well as other new generation churches have started acquiring security gadgets like the CCTV, bomb detectors, metal detectors and many other security gargets.

Further investigations by Sharpedgenews.com showed that churches are now making sure that any vehicle that enters their compound is properly checked using bomb detectors as well as other security gargets.

Sharpedgenews.com equally gathered that security companies are already smiling to the bank as more churches are showing interest to acquire security gargets.

In preventing the attack of Boko Haram, Winners Chapel has barred commercial photographers from entering its vicinity.

The church owned by the prosperity preaching man of God, Bishop David Oyedepo, is leaving no stone unturned to prevent Boko Haram attack.

The Bishop who was believed to be the target of the failed Easter Sunday bombing attack in Kaduna that killed several people has fortified security in and around his churches and business places.

It was later gathered that the church was only taking precaution against attack from Boko Haram sect and that most of the sophisticated cameras used to take pictures have become a source of worry to the church management.
