Breaking: Fayose Restored as Ekiti PDP Leader

Ex-governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has been reinstated as the leader of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ekiti state.
The State Executive Committee (SEC) of the PDP in Ekiti State dissociated itself from the purported stakeholders meeting which replaced Fayose with the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Biodun Olujimi, as leader of the party in the state.

The SEC, therefore, reaffirmed its stand with the former governor as the leader of the party in the state.
The SEC is the highest organ of the party in the state and is comprised of the State Working Committee, party chairmen and secretaries at local government and wards and elected public office holders among others.

In a communiqué issued at the end of their meeting in Ado Ekiti alleged that Olujimi and a former PDP state secretary, Dr Tope Aluko, were agents of the APC commissioned to destabilize the PDP.
