The laboratory of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), located Oshodi a suburb of Lagos State suddenly caught
fire on Saturday night.
There was no immediate explanation for the cause of the inferno which mysteriously engulfed the multi billion Naira outfit.
Contacted, the spokes person of NAFDAC, Dr. Abubakar Jimoh told sharpedgenews.com that the cause of the incident was yet unknown and that efforts are at foot to bring the situation under control.
Recall, NAFDAC has been an agency where several conflicting interest have tested themselves out over who becomes the next substantive Director General after the incumbent acting DG, Mrs. Oni from Ogunquit state finishes her tenure.
