Unknown gunmen on Monday morning attacked the headquarters of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Abuja where members of the Boko Haram sect are often held. This is coming just barely few hours after a double suicide bomb attack in a military church in Kaduna on Sunday which claimed 11 lives.
Reports said there was a shoot-out which lasted for some hours while unconfirmed reports say some detainees were freed. Security operatives have already cordoned the Apo area of Abuja where the shooting took place.
