Several members of the Zed Labour party in Ondo state have converged on the Ilesha- Oyemekun Road in Akure to welcome
the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Alfred Agboola Ajayi to its fold.
It is the second major political odyssey of Agboola Ajayi in the last fifty days. A long irreconcilable imbroglio with his principle, the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, led to his exit from the ruling All progressives Congress, APC.
He went into the largest opposition party, People Democratic Party, PDP was he ran a stiff race for the gubernatorial ticket. He was contained by Barrister Eyitayo Jegede who clinched the ticket.
Sharpedge news reports that the hostile disposition of his co-travellers in PDP left him with no choice than to move on, culminating in today’s entry into ZLp.
