The leadership of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) has announced Monday, Dec. 26, 2022 for the flag-off of this year’s annual celebration of the leader, divine manifestation of the ancient of days, Olumba Olumba Obu.
The spokesperson of BCS, Mr Amah Williams, who disclosed this in Abuja, during a press conference said the significance of the celebration stems from the area of global challenges and the path to lasting peace on earth.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the press conference was aimed to proclaim and announce to the entire world the 2022 celebration of the Devine Manifestation of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.
Williams advised world leaders and government at all levels to embrace the event and enjoy the glory of God, as the solution to the numerous problems bedeviling mankind which can be found in the teachings of the leader.
“We invite the entire world to the 2022 edition of the celebration of the Divine Manifestation of the ancient of days, leader Olumba Olumba Obu which will start on Monday 26th December 2022 with a flag off ceremony.
“We wish to also make it clear to leaders of the world and government at all levels that the solution to the myriad of problems bedeviling mankind today can be found in the teachings of leader Olumba Olumba Obu as encapsulated in his everlasting gospels.
“Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) is a universal devine Institution that teaches and practices universal love, peace, unity truth and righteousness in the holy spirit.
According to him, parts of the activities to be observed during the celebration includes, World charity day and The 4th Leader Olumba Olumba Obu annual public lecture.
However, he added that part of the world charity day will be set aside as the day for BCS to give alms to the needy as a symbol of the boundless compassion of God to his people.
Meanwhile, he further revealed that the 4th Leader Olumba Olumba Obu annual public lecture will be centered on the enduring legacies, teachings and the accomplishments of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.
He said it will equally provide a stage where seasoned and experienced individuals and public figures will present their thoughts and reflects on the divine works of Olumba Olumba Obu as it concerns humanity.
“The 5-day event which starts on the 26th, is expected to run through to the 30th December, 2022 at the BCS world headquarters, 34 Ambo street, Calabar.
“The name Brotherhood means love, truth, good manners, mercy, patience, humility, meekness, unity as well as the oneness of all God’s creations.
“It is also known as the Christ Universal Spiritual school of practical Christianity established 1956 registerd as a cooperate body on March 24, 1964.
“It not a political party, secret society, cult or anything of the world, it is non-dominational, non-sectional and non-governmental,” he said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
