President Muhammadu Buhari will today leave Abuja for N’Djamena, Chad where he would join other Heads of State and Government for the inauguration
ceremony of President Idriss Deby Itno of Chad, who won the presidential elections in his country in April.
A statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said Buhari would be accompanied on the one-day trip by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his Borno State counterpart, Kashim Shettima.
The President’s delegation would also include Senator Baba Kaka Garba, Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd).
The President will return to Abuja after the inauguration.
